Free* Rental Fridays

Go skating and enjoy a free* hot chocolate on Mondays starting January 8 at The Bentway

Tuesdays until Feb 13 register for free* skate lessons at the Bentway - if you missed registering because lessons are popular and fill up fast, you can wait in line 20 minutes before the lessons in case someone doesn't show.

There are no guarantees of getting a free* lesson if not registered, though.

On Fridays you can enjoy a free* rental courtesy of Billy Bishop Airport

Expedite your entry by signing the waiver beforehand and make sure to show the checkmark page to gain entry (you can do this while waiting in line if you have data and a phone)

Ensure you also have physical government issued ID with you to rent roller skates

Located on the west side of union building

Complimentary coat check is available

This event is pretty popular regardless of the day, so be prepared to wait in line for a few hours

The Canadian Opera Company is back with this year's line up of performances that usually take place at noon Tuesdays to Thursdays.

There are exceptions, of course, as there are a couple of 5:30pm timeslots, as well.

If you work in the area or have the day off, it's good to unwind with some musical performances.

This event is really popular so make sure to arrive well in advance to get a seat.
