There are so many things to do do this summer including plenty of live music performances, most of which are free*.

It seems like every week more outdoor live music festivals keep getting added to Toronto venues so check back often for updates!

This summer (2023) + bonus impromtu music performances at the end.

Some are ticketed, though, so best double check organizations' / event organizers' websites / social accounts.

*Transportation to and from events not included. Other charges may apply. Free at the time of writing this article. For accurate and up to date info please refer to organizations' / event organizers' websites / social accounts.

Note: images are for illustration purposes only and do not represent the actual events, products, or items

Remember to show up prepared with a beach chair or picnic blanket because seating may not necessarily be availble.

We particularly like using a Turkish Towel because it's compact and versatile.

Packing snacks and drinks in handy reusable containers is also a bonus! :D

Impromptu Music Performances

Various Parks in Toronto

There are so many talented artists in Toronto who perform their craft in various parks around Toronto.

- The drum circle held at Trinity Bellwoods Park reminds us a lot of First Nation drums.

Inspired by the Na-Me-Res Pow Wow, we pay homage to First Nations in our First Nations Homage article. Check it out!

- There is what looks like a Celtic Harp player at Humber Bay - just after the Bridge

Access our map at the end of the article on how to get there: Humber River Trail

- Cherry Beach has EDM performances from time to time which makes part of the commute to Woodbine beach fun to listen to

Check out our article on how to get to Woodbine Beach from Downtown Toronto Downtown to Woodbine
